We Have Received News
We got some good news today and some not so good….
The wonderful news is that there is only one aneurysm!! The place that they thought was an aneurysm turned out to be a place of bone with some air in it….and that was the one that was located pretty deep in the brain tissue so we are so thankful that that is not a worry anymore!! I know there were some of you that were specifically praying that one or both would disappear……Thank the Lord for answering prayer!
The not so good news is is that there still is one aneurysm that we’re dealing with. It’s about 1 cm in size and it’s located on the carotid artery. That’s the same artery that runs on the left side of your neck where the pulse is felt. That artery then splits as it runs up the head and one part goes left and the other right. The aneurysm that we’re dealing with is up on the left side of the upper head in that artery. We were told that if you had to have an aneurysm on the brain, then this is a good location and it looks like it is repairable.
So we’re waiting on next steps now. We do know that there will be surgery and most likely very soon. Please pray for our doctor as she makes some important decisions…pray for God’s guidance and direction in finding the right surgeon and deciding next steps.
We love all of you guys so much and are so thankful for all your encouragement and support. God is faithful and we have already seen His hand in this situation in so many ways! Thank you for your prayers….we covet them right now.

Thanking the Lord for the good news part & still praying for complete healing realizing that it may come through a medical intervention. We will pray for the Lord to guide your doctor in the decisions that need to be made in the next few days. We will continue to pray without ceasing. You are fearfully & wonderfully made & God is in control of any adjustments that need to be made. You are such an inspiration of faith to so many. So many times we have coveted the prayers you & Eddie have prayed for us and our children. Now we cover you! We love you both so very, very much.

[...] I have no idea what is good for a blog, as far as hits go, but this past week I have gotten about 200 unique hits a day. So, I’m asking the people who check this blog to pray for Eddie and Martha. They just found out she has a brain aneurism that may need immediate attention. You can read their posts here. [...]

Praise God! What a blessing and miracle…who says God doesn’t still perform miracles?! I had a friend in Florida who had a brain anyurism (sorry about the spelling) and God healed her through it all…I am praying the same for you. If you need anything let me know! God Bless

Martha Marie, Our family is praying for your situation. Thank God that He’s already started working in this. We are praying for complete healing, but if it’s in His will for you to have a procedure, we pray for Him to guide the surgeon’s hand. We love you and miss you so much!

Denny and I will pray for you. As you might have heard, Denny, my 17 year old son at the time (now 18, almost 19), had an AVM, a type of brain hemorrhage on Jan. 11, 2007. His recovery continues to be a long one, but he survived it. Since they have found yours and it sounds repairable, you are a great step ahead of things. Your daughter Selah is beautiful and I enjoyed looking at her photos. You and Eddie haven’t changed since attending Fall Creek Wesleyan. Love and continued Blessings to you both.

It’s amazing how things work in the family of God; we received word of your news in Michigan through concerned prayer chains in NC. We’ve been praying and will continue to do so.

I am thankful that through this avenue we can be close even though miles seperate us. Please know that you are in my prayers daily at some many intervals of my day I remember you and believe God for great things. Praise the Lord for his mighty hand that has already begun the healing process and will complete it. When you walk through the waters you will not be overtaken - and through the fires you will not be burned. I continue to trust God with you.
Love to all, Angie
