Martha Marie is in terrible pain even though she is on pain narcotics. We feel the hospital may have released her too soon. Please pray that her pain would cease and that she would be able to stay peaceful.
We checked in this morning at 6:30. They started the procedure at 8 a.m. The procedure was over at 8:30 a.m. We left the hospital around 12:15 p.m.
Hey Eddie, Just wanted to let you and Martha Marie I am praying for her. She needs lots of rest this first day.
Here’s a few ideas…Have her use an ice pack on her incision for the first 24 hours. Did they give her some anti-inflammatory meds along with pain meds? If not, maybe you should ask, I think that would help alot. We give 800 mg of Motrin or 30 mg Toradol every 6 hrs along with pain killers in the hospital. She may need that little extra. Don’t be afraid to page the doctor, they may even chage her pain meds. Sometimes they are hesitant to give motrin or toradol if the are concerned with bleeding.
I hope any of this helps……God Bless! Angie
I am praying for relief from pain, and for a good night’s rest after Martha’s surgery. And I’m praying for peace for you, Eddie.
I hope this finds you smiling and in a little less pain! We love you and are still praying for you!
