Caroline’s Promise exists to Reclaim Hope for Orphans through:

Adoptive Family Assistance: Providing guidance and assistance to North and South Carolina Christian couples going through the adoption process by providing education, resources, financial assistance, and prayer support.

Orphan Care: Meeting the physical and spiritual needs of children throughout the world with the hope of those children accepting Christ as their Savior.

Education: Educating the community about adoption.
Caroline’s Promise was started in North Carolina by David and Lisa Holbrook.  Martha Marie is currently directing an extension of Caroline’s Promise in South Carolina now.

The Lost Boy

This book is the sequel to “A Child Called It.” It describes David Pelzer’s life as a foster child in the 70′s. I highly recommend this book to foster parents or others that want to be more aware of how foster children may feel.

A Child Called It

I just finished this book a few weeks ago.

It is about a child that underwent one of the worst child abuse cases in the history of the United States for the long period of time that it took place.
